Crestwood FFA was named a Gold Emblem Chapter for 2016-2017. This means FFA ranks in the Top 10% of chapters state wide and are up for consideration for the Governor’s Citation (Top 3 Chapter Programs). They will move on to the national judging for consideration as a 1, 2, or 3 Star National Chapter. This is the second straight year Crestwood’s FFA has received Gold Designation.
Crestwood is also being recognized with a Percent Membership award for having a membership exceeding the enrollment of the agriculture program at CHS.
Abigail Lewandowski was approved as a FFA state officer candidate and will run to be one of the six new state officers during the annual FFA convention in June.
Abigail also was named the Pee Dee Region Individual FFA Award Winner (Oustanding State FFA Member). She is the first Crestwood student to win this award. She is now under consideration for the state award, which will be announced during the convention this June.
